About JSA Motorports
The driver for JSA Motorsports, Jason Goldsack, came from successful drag racer team with many wins, a track championship, rookie of the year and Race Of Champions victory in Indianapolis IN.
In his first year of racing with this team in 2008, the team finished 3rd in the points with WOO with 3 second place finishes, 3 thirds and a four in features. Altogether for a new team and new driver and new chassis, the team felt strong going into 2009. The underpowered apposed flathead was to be replaced by the more common Vanguard engine.
Coming into 2009, chassis SM-2 was built as chassis SM-1 was destroyed in a crash during the last race.Powered by a Ryker Racing Vanguard, JSA Motorsports was possed to really make a gain in the points.
Even though Jason lead at every race he was induring 2009 , DNF's plagued the team as small part failures put them on the trailer at a few events. By the end of July JSA Motorsports suspended competition due to personal issues with a goal to make a run at the WOO points championship in 2010.
2010 Season Update
The 2010 racing season is only a few months away. JSA Motorsports is busy working on chassis M-1 to be campaigned in the Western Ontario Outlaws (WOO) Modified Class.
Also planned for the 2010 is a Gilson with a 10hp and 600 Peerless combo to run in the WOO Stock Class, and a 5 HP 1965 Lawnflite to compete in the Junior Class
